What are your favorite things about Farmington Lutheran?
The community that Farmington Lutheran has provided for my family. So many adults pour into my children through programming and just Sunday morning interactions. The opportunities that Farmington Lutheran offers my family to love like Jesus by serving others.

Tell us about your family/your dear ones.
My husband, David is a stay at home dad. Our twins, Xavier and Ali are 13 and in 7th grade. Our youngest, Odin is 7.5 and in 1st grade.

What is your dream vacation?
I would love to travel to Europe, specifically Spain and France for a duration long enough to see the sights while also enjoying the slower lifestyle.

Describe your hobbies or how you like to spend free time.
As a family we enjoy camping or spending time at the lake with grandparents. I enjoy spending time socializing with other adults or trying new things.

What is/was your profession?
I have been an examiner with a federal financial regulator for the past 20 years. The agency regulates the Farm Credit System, which is a cooperative system that finances agricultural producers.

What is your favorite holiday? Why?
I enjoy Christmas the most. My twins were born on December 27th so I always take two weeks off work for Christmas and to celebrate them!

YOU’VE BEEN FLOCKED! FLAMINGO FUNDRAISER
Our youth are headed to Camp Wapo & Wilderness Canoe Base this summer and we need YOUR help to get them there! Here’s how it works:

  • Nominate a friend or neighbor

  • Donate what you’d like ($30 minimum)

  • Send us their address

  •  We “flock” their yard with flamingos

  • We come back and clean it all up

  • It’s fun. It’s pink. It’s for a great cause.

We can’t wait to get started — who should we flock first?!

MN FOODSHARE CAMPAIGN
Now through April 6, 2026
It’s that time of year again for the MN Foodshare March Campaign. This is an important campaign for our local food shelf, as the more the Farmington Food Shelf can collect in food and monetary donations, the more grant money 360 Communities will receive from MNFoodShare.
Donations directly to Farmington Food Shelf may be dropped off on Mondays and Thursdays from 11-5:30pm. The address is 510 Walnut St., south side of the building, door #9.  Monetary gifts are always welcome and checks should be made out to the Farmington Food Shelf.
Farmington Food Shelf’s visit numbers continue to rise, and your support is most appreciated.
