Pastor Kevin grew up on a farm near Henderson, Minnesota. He was nurtured in the Christian faith by his family and through the community of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He received his Master of Divinity Degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.
Pastor Kevin puts a lot of value on vision and planning. Shortly after Kevin arrived at FLC in October of 2012, a series of cottage meetings took place to listen to the congregation and hear how the people of FLC were gifted, what we do well, and where there is energy and excitement. Those listening sessions produced our four core values that have guided the decisions and actions of our council, staff, and ministry teams.
Pastor Kevin and his family enjoy calling Farmington Lutheran Church home. To be renewed Kevin enjoys being with Sally and their kids, exercising, and opportunities to do some fishing and cheering on some Minnesota sports teams.
Charles (Rusty) Brace was called to Farmington Lutheran Church as an associate pastor in October 2014.

Pastor Rusty’s ministry perspective proceeds from a calm and non-anxious demeanor and a love for conversation and relationship building. Having a passion for teaching and sharing God’s message; Pastor Rusty employs a joyful and healthy sense of humor.
In his spare time, Pastor Rusty loves to read and go to movies. He is a definite “homer” when it comes to watching sports. He occasionally does some simple woodworking, goes camping, hiking, and canoeing. He and Lynette enjoy traveling and they are particularly fond of trips to the BWCA.
