Fundraisers & Fundraising Opportunities

Farmington Lutheran recognizes that attending camp or participating in summer youth trips is an investment, and we want to help make these experiences accessible for every family. We offer a variety of fundraising opportunities designed to help offset the cost of attending these events.

NEW THIS YEAR (2026-2027)!
We’re making a few updates to how fundraising opportunities work at Farmington Lutheran! Going forward, children and youth are invited to sign up for any fundraiser opportunities for which they qualify—whether they are attending camp, going on a trip or participating in multiple events.

A few important things to know:

• Children and youth are encouraged to sign up themselves for fundraising opportunities. Parents and caring adults should not sign up in place of their child or youth. These opportunities are intended for children and youth to participate in and earn funds toward their own experiences.

• Some fundraisers may have age or other participation requirements, so be sure to check the details for each opportunity.

• Fundraising opportunities are available to help support children and youth camps and trips that are hosted by FLC or promoted in collaboration with our partners.

• For fundraisers that include multiple shifts or take place over multiple days, the total amount raised will be divided evenly among all eligible shifts worked by participating youth. In other words, the more qualifying shifts your youth works, the greater their share of the total fundraising proceeds.

• We are working to offer a mix of group volunteer fundraising opportunities and individual fundraising opportunities. Group opportunities may include things like working an event or service shift, while individual fundraisers may include Butter Braids, flower sales, and other similar opportunities.

Our goal is to provide a variety of ways for children and youth to participate in fundraising—whether they prefer working alongside others at a group event or participating in an individual fundraiser—and to make the process more accessible, consistent, and fair for everyone.
