Puzzle Exchange this Thursday!
Thursday, October 16 from 12:00pm-4:00pm
Women’s Ministry hosts a monthly Puzzle Exchange — happening every third Thursday of the month. It’s open to everyone, and there are over 500 puzzles to choose from! Come swap, chat, and find your next favorite puzzle.

COMMUNITY COMMUNION WORKSHOP
Sunday, November 16 at 11:45am
Open to all ages & designed to help participants learn more about the meaning and practice of Communion. Together we’ll walk through a book, explore what happens during Communion, tour the sanctuary and sacristy, taste the elements, and have time for questions and discussion.

Participants will be invited to take their First Communion on Sunday, December 7 or on Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the 7:00 pm worship service.

WINTER (SNOW!) GEAR DRIVE
Drop off in the front entry way bins
Even though it doesn’t feel like it outside, the cold weather will be here soon! FLC is partnering with our local schools and the Farmington Library to make sure everyone in our community has what they need to stay warm this season.
We’re especially looking for kids’ snow gear — waterproof items like snow pants, boots, mittens, and jackets — so everyone can enjoy playing outside this winter.

PRAYER PARTNER WRISTBANDS are back for the 25-26 program year!
We’re looking for caring adults willing to pray for our students. Every 6th- 9th grade student has a wristband that says, “Love Like Jesus”. They’re wearing one themselves, and they’ve signed another for a prayer partner. We’re inviting adults to take a wristband (or two!) and commit to praying for that student by name. Interested? Use the link below to be added to the list.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Friday, October 24

Last year’s Trunk or Treat welcomed nearly 1,000 people from our community — which means this year we need more decorated cars than ever before! You can decorate your trunk with any fun (family-friendly) theme you'd like. Don’t forget to bring candy or small trinkets to hand out!

FLC is looking for candy and small trinket donations to hand out at Trunk or Treat. If you’re able to add to our collection, they can be dropped off in the office anytime.

KIC456: 4th through 6th Grade Lock-In!
Friday, October 24, 7:30pm to Saturday, October 25, 8:00am

Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders — along with some amazing volunteers — will be spending the night at FLC! We’ll go bowling, eat, play games, snack, have devotion time, probably eat some more, and then sleep (maybe)! In the morning, we’ll enjoy breakfast before getting ready to head home.

FLC EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS TEAM
Farmington Lutheran has a variety of procedures in place to respond to emergencies on our property, such as inclement weather, fire, and active shooter events. Volunteers are briefed on these procedures at trainings. Given recent gun violence involving churches in our country, FLC staff and leadership are reviewing and renewing procedures in the unlikely event of such an event here, through an Emergency Preparedness Team. Please pray for wise work to be done, and that there will never be a need for such work, here or anywhere.
