TEACHER AND VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Wednesday, September 3 AT 6:30pm
All youth and adults helping with children’s or youth programming this year are invited to attend a volunteer training. We will review FLC guidelines, policies, and protocols, and talk through what to expect for the upcoming program year.
Your participation helps ensure a safe, fun, and meaningful experience for everyone involved—thank you for serving!

LITTLE LAMBS VILLAGE
Thursdays, August 28 & September 4 at 5:15pm
Parents of little ones (ages 0–5)

Little Lambs Village is gathering Thursday evenings at 5:15 pm! Families with littles are welcome to stop by or drop in (no need to sign up) when it works for your schedule to check out Little Lambs Village. Come for friendly conversation, play time for the littles, fellowship, and a chance to help shape future get-togethers.

BACKPACK (OR LUNCH BOX OR WORKBAG) BLESSING
Sunday, September 7 at both worship services

You're invited to bring your backpack, lunch bag, or work bag to either worship service on Sunday, September 7. We'll bless the bags and send everyone off into the new school year with prayers, encouragement, and a fresh start!

BAPTISM ORIENTATION
Sunday, September 21 at 9:45am
Just as Christ welcomes all people into his family, Farmington Lutheran Church welcomes all people to the life-giving waters of baptism, regardless of membership. We ask that parents of infants and young children attend a Baptismal preparation class.
Baptism Orientation classes are required before scheduling a baptism.

Brewed Theology is Back!
On Tuesday, September 23, at the Long Branch, Brewed Theology resumes with "The No [Jerk] Rule: Working & Living Together". Initially based on conversations about surviving workplaces (and a book (with a slightly more provocative title by Dr. Robert Sutton), we'll talk about some basic rules for being people together in a world that tends to pit people against one another. Whether you've attended or not, you're invited to Brewed Theology!

(Fun fact: Did you know that Brewed Theology is being used by over 40 faith communities in nearly 20 states?)

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
Sunday, October 5 at 11:45am
Everyone is always welcome at FLC and you do not need to be a member to attend worship, events or classes. Nevertheless, we would love for you to join our community of faith if you’re interested!  At FLC, church is more than just a building. FLC is a community of people that worship together, serve the Lord, share God’s love and support one another.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Friday, October 24

Last year’s Trunk or Treat welcomed nearly 1,000 people from our community — which means this year we need more decorated cars than ever before! You can decorate your trunk with any fun (family-friendly) theme you'd like. Don’t forget to bring candy or small trinkets to hand out! Church will also be accepting candy and small trinket donations. Label your donation and drop them off in the office anytime.
