SIGNS OF LIFE SPRING APPEAL
A huge Thank You to all FLC for your energy, support, and contributions to the Signs of Life Spring appeal. Together, we reached nearly $65,000, with over 80 different contributing families. You graciously matched a $30,000 seed gift...and then some! Thank you for your generosity and excitement. Our mission and ministry funding has been fortified, six $1,000 gifts have been given to support our neighbors in need, and we're advancing the new digital sign project, so we can invite, welcome, and encourage our community. Expectations for the completion of the sign are for early September.
The Signs of Life appeal remains open to further contributions, should you still like to contribute. If so: thank you! Funding received will continue to strengthen mission, ministry, and outreach.
As we celebrate the Signs of Life appeal, we continue to celebrate signs of life at Farmington Lutheran in worship, fellowship, Vacation Bible School, and as we eagerly plan for the return of fall programming. Thank you for being church together and witnessing to God's amazing love.

BACK TO SCHOOL MILESTONE
Summer is here, but fall is coming! As school approaches, so do big changes for students beginning Kindergarten, Middle School, or High School. We believe that God is, and will be, present in all our life's transitions. So, we're highlighting and blessing these milestones for our students!
On Wednesday, August 20th, we'll celebrate going "Back to School" with milestones events for new Kindergarteners, 6th, and 9th graders. Panels of students, parents, and teachers will answer questions and encourage students and parents as they enter K, 6th, or 9th grade.
Kindergarteners and families will meet at 4pm, and Middle and High School panels will begin at 6pm. Supper is provided! (See the Community Corn Roast announcement for the same day! All are welcome.)

FLC CORN ROAST
Wednesday, August 20
Join us on Wednesday, August 20 for a community corn roast to celebrate the last days of summer.  We will have corn, brats, hot dogs and other good things.  Pastor Jeff is happy to buy the corn but needs others to help grill.  We also need to have a couple more grills and a pickup or trailer to transport them.  It should be a fun event as we gear up for another school year.  Contact Pastor Jeff if you are willing to lend any help at bpjeffbarrow.gmail.com.
