MEET YOUR FLC COUNCIL MEMBERS!
Betsy Grawe

What are your favorite things about Farmington Lutheran?
There is so much to love! I love the people - who seem to sincerely care about others. I love the music - that allows people of all ages to grow in how they use their God-given gifts. I love the teaching - especially the core belief that we need to have sincere responses to profound issues.

Tell us about your family/your dear ones.

I live with two of the cutest kittens on the planet and I enjoy being an aunt to 8 nieces and nephews!

What is your dream vacation?
I would love to go anywhere where I can see orca whales and NOT see snakes!

Describe your hobbies or how you like to spend free time.
I love music, dancing, singing, playing handbells, doing water aerobics, and spending time with friends!

What is/was your profession?
I am a Spanish teacher at Lakeville South High School. I also own a small business that I do over the summer. I have also worked in college access programs at St. Olaf and Lakeville for a long time, so I love helping seniors get ready for college!

What is your favorite holiday? Why?
I am partial to the Fourth of July because it is full of sunshine, good food, and time with friends!

VBS & KIC ROCKS: JULY 21 - 24, 2025
There are lots of ways FLC could use your help to make for a successful VBS (Vacation Bible School) and KiC ROCKS (Kids in Christ) week! Here are a few ideas:
- Pray for the children, youth, families, volunteers, and staff.
- Provide donations of needed supplies.
- Create props for us to use inside and outside. Need items back, let us know. Ask Dawn for some ideas.
- Volunteer to help decorate, cut out projects (paper, yarn, etc.) shop
- Check out our wish lists on Amazon and SignUpGenius.
- Can you sing and/or play the guitar? We would love to record some camp songs soon.
