Reaching Out with the Gospel Appeal

This weekend, we begin our 2019 Special Appeal. We are seeking $20,000 to fully fund a variety of exciting programs that will reach people with the gospel. These programs include Compassion Thursdays, congregational caregiving, worship and media, and youth leadership training. Matching funds will be available, starting next week. Watch your mailboxes for more information.

Sabbatical Leave

Pastor Kevin is currently on Sabbatical leave, returning July 15.  During his sabbatical Pastor Kevin will be away from all pastoral duties, and he will not be available by phone, text, or email. Arrangements have been made to provide additional pastoral support for Pastor Rusty. Pastor Kevin will be furthering his education and development by utilizing some assessments, coaching, and spiritual direction to better understand his strengths and weaknesses for ministry.  It will also be a time to be renewed and to renew relationships with his family. This sabbatical leave is a part of Pastor Kevin’s letter of call and is a practice the ELCA encourages to promote vibrant ministry in our congregations.
